Mother reimbursed for her sacrifice
The JP Bayly Trust has reimbursed a total of $4,440.00 which was spent by Rovina Devi to put her daughter Aanchal Payal Kumar into the Fiji National University (FNU) to complete her tertiary studies and who graduated with a certificate in Culinary Arts in 2018. This was done after receiving the relevant official documents from the two institutions.
Rain does not dampen Fun Day
We all share in the laughter, the joy and the cheers. The Fun Day was finally here. The van was loaded and the first trip to the children’s park was set to depart but while we were packing and moving and lifting, the skies were darkening and a storm was looming.
Keeping her side of the bargain
Malika had promised the Bayly Welfare Manager Northern that she would top her class in 2018 and did so with flying colours. When she visited the Center with her grandm other Hasima Bi last year, I encouraged and motivated her to come first and that we would help with her school supplies.
It’s back to a new School year
Year 2019 was off to a good start. The Lautoka Center was filled with parents and students anxiously waiting to receive their new bags, stationery, shoes, books and uniforms.
