The current government is assisting parents with their children’s schooling, but the vendors are making the most of this by raising the cost of school supplies. The cost of the sandals and backpacks is absurd when compared to previous years.

When these parents are struggling to make finances meet, the JP Bayly Trust team in Suva, Labasa, and Lautoka is working tirelessly to meet their children’s educational needs. We undertook the responsibility for providing the school uniform after realizing that it was the most costly and mandatory item on the list of requirements.

We are making every effort not to turn away the growing number of people who come to our doors every day in need of help. Our goal is to ensure that kids receive an education and become self-sufficient. We keep a careful eye on their performance and attendance. At JP Bayly Trust, we make sure that the kids make good use of the time and money they are given.

We intend to do much more to ensure that the kids graduate with honors, and we can only accomplish this with the help of our amazing readers.
